The balancing girder erection method using inclined and vertical bents and tuned mass damper (TMD) are adopted in order to prevent the occurrence of topographic features. Typhoon No.0306 went ashore in Nagasaki Prefecture on June 19 in 2003.\nAs the results of analyzing the behavior of tower of the Megami Bridge by this typhoon, the effect of TMD was evaluated.
