Patients also suffer severe abdominal pain. Kondo and Hirano et al. developed a radical operation called "distal pancreatectomy with en bloc celiac resection (DP-CAR)" for such cases. We applied this procedure three times in two patients with pancreatic body carcinomas, in which combined vascular resection was necessary. Radical operation was eventually achieved., Hepato-gastroenterology, 59(117), pp.1341-1344; 2012}, pages = {1341--1344}, title = {Distal pancreatectomy with en bloc celiac resection for locally advanced pancreas carcinoma}, volume = {59}, year = {2012} }
