Plane model net whose upper and lower ends were fixed by the ropes was submerged parallel to the wave in the experimental water tank,and washed by the wave whose period was changed in the range of 0.9-1.4sec. The horizontal displacement of the knots was measured and the results were compared with the values calculated by the finite element method (FEM). It was obtained that the direction of net motion of upper portion represents the opposite direction in the lower portion of the net, and it is in good agreement with the second mode of the FEM analysis. It has been found that finite element method is much easier to examine the mesh configuration as the first approximation., 波浪中に置かれた平面網地の運動について解析した結果を取りまとめてみると, 1, 枠に固定した平面網の運動は上層部と下層部ではその方向が波浪条件により逆の場合が生じた。2, 中層から下層へ行くに従って結節の移動量(水平方向)は各層における水粒子の移動量よりも大きくなる傾向を示した。3, 有限要素法による数値計算結果は実測値より大きくなったが,網目形状変化のパターンは近似的に測定結果と同様であった。, 長崎大学水産学部研究報告, v.62, pp.29-32; 1987}, pages = {29--32}, title = {波浪中における平面網地の挙動-予報-}, volume = {62}, year = {1987} }
