Consolidated-undrained true triaxial tests with independent control of three principal stresses were performed on cubical specimens of Ariake Clay, i. e., alluvial marine clay, which is well-known as one of the most problematic soils in Kyushu District because of its high plasticity and high sensitivity. Forthermore, we compared with observed behavior and calculated one by some elasto-plastic model proposed previously.
