This probe has an almost same sensitivity as the flush mounting hot film probe, and there is little effect of the probe surrounding material on the sensitivity because of a little heat loss to the surroundings. And it is compared with the hot flim probe. The manufactured probe is consisted of 5μ dia. tangsten wire and its traversing gear, and the wire is located at 0.03 mm high from the wall for measuring wall friction.
