日本と韓国の地方の一大学において，看護大学生を対象に喫煙の状況と喫煙に関する意識調査を自己記入式質問紙調査で行なった．両大学の学生では，家族等との同居形態には違いがみられたが，喫煙者の割合は同程度で低かった（日本A大学1.2％，韓国B大学1.4％）．しかし，韓国B大学では低学年で喫煙者がみられ，日本A大学では高学年でみられた．喫煙に関する意識調査では，知識を問う質問項目では差がなく，認識や態度を問う質問項目では違いがみられた．これらには両国の喫煙対策のあり方の違いが影響していると考えられた． |

We investigated a smoking situation among nursing students and their attitude on smoking.The subjects were nursing students studying at a university in southern Japan and those studying at a college in the southern part of South Korea. Differences were observed in the living background of the students at both universities, but the percentage of students who were smoking was almost the same in both universities and it was small（1.2 percent at A University（Japan）and 1.4 percent at B College（South Korea））. At B College those who were smoking were freshmen or sophomores, while at A University they were juniors or seniors. In an attitude survey on smoking, although no differences were observed in the items that ask about knowledge of smoking, differences were observed in those items that concern the awareness of smoking or attitude toward smoking. We believe that differences in measures taken against smoking in both countries are reflected in them. |
